This original storytelling game from Londji encourages imagination, creativity and the joy of storytelling together. Players take turns turning over cards based on a dice roll – story, rhythm and genre cards – and use them to create their own adventures together. You can play verbally or in writing, on your own or in a group. Just let the pictures guide you and give your imagination free rein.

Storytelling games are ideal for developing expression, vocabulary, sentence structure and comprehension. Picture cards provide an excellent visual foundation – children can use the picture as a starting point to create both simple and more complex sentences. I recommend asking follow-up questions (“Who went there? Why? What happened next?”), which support story structure and logical thinking.
