They regularly visit children in their "homes", help them with school preparation, pay attention to them individually and play with them. They also organize leisure activities, summer camps and educational events. Every week, volunteers visit children in DD Olomouc, DD Mladá Boleslav, DD Nové Strašecí, DD Ústí nad Labem, DD Dolní Počernice, DD Zruč nad Sázavou, DD Pyšely and DD Tišnov, DD Ledce, DD Senožaty and DD Dolní Čermné. We also cooperate with DD Krnsko, DD Hranice, DD Přerov, DD Hora Svaté Kateřiny, DD Boršov nad Vltavou and DD Humpolec. Creammy donated creative toys worth CZK 380,000 to the Good Fairies in 2024. We supported the organization Children of the Full Moon, which helps families caring for children with severe forms of autism.
From each Mammadiary and Family Calendar sold, we directed 10 CZK to their amazing projects. In 2024, we supported the association with the amount of 56,300 CZK, thanks to you.
The Association of Hope for Children of the Full Moon was established in 2017 as an initiative of the Třešňák couple after the broadcast of the documentary of the same name on Czech Television, which attracted increasing attention to the topic of autism, as an increasingly common diagnosis in the population. The association brings together families with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who wish for their children to have a dignified and quality life that takes into account their level of disability. Currently, there is a lack of adequate social services for people with ASD in the Czech Republic, and families take care of their children themselves 24/7. Children of the Full Moon, with the support of more than a hundred families of children with ASD, strive to increase the capacity of social services and make them accessible to clients with ASD, to increase awareness of the current difficult situation of families, and also brings to the Czech Republic new innovative social support projects for people with ASD, which it pilots in the Czech Republic and generally creates pressure for a change in the social system among responsible officials and politicians.
"We strive for a fair social system and health care that will respect the unique needs of each individual, that will truly help everyone individually according to their real needs, regardless of diagnosis or type of disability, and that will have appropriate support tools, a suitably set system, and sufficiently qualified and adequately paid staff," says Petr Třešňák about the work of Children of the Full Moon.
